Overview
The Information & Public Relations Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh , serves as an important communication link between the Government and the people of the State. The Department plays a key role in disseminating information about government policies, programmes, schemes, achievements and public welfare initiatives through various media and communication platforms.
Through its extensive communication network, the Department facilitates effective interaction with the print, electronic and digital media and supports the dissemination of authentic and timely information to citizens. It undertakes a wide range of activities including press relations, publicity, publications, media coordination, public communication, exhibitions and other information and awareness initiatives across Uttar Pradesh. The Department is committed to strengthening transparent, accessible and effective communication between the Government and citizens, while ensuring that information related to development and public initiatives reaches people across the State.
